Get Involved
You matter here. And so does your impact.
Since 2001, A Women’s Resource Center has served thousands of women and families in Putnam County, but we don’t do it alone. Our work is powered by generous donors, passionate volunteers, faithful prayer partners, and churches and businesses who believe that every life is worth protecting, and every person is worth supporting.
Give: Fuel Life-Changing Care
Because of generous donors like you, our clients receive 100% free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, options counseling, material assistance, and mentorship, all in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
When you give, you become part of every story of courage, healing, and life.
Serve: Become a Volunteer
God can use even the smallest amount of our time to make a lasting impact. At A Women’s Resource Center, we have a variety of serve opportunities designed to fit your schedule while allowing you to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community. Whether you can help with facility maintenance, document production, donor relations & communications, mentoring, or serving as a client advocate, there is a place for you to use your gifts and talents.
I thought I was coming to give. But I received so much more than I ever expected…purpose, community, and the joy of making a real difference.
Volunteer Roles Include

Client Advocates (Men & Women)
Have you had a personal or close experience with abortion or adoption? Your story may be exactly what someone else needs to hear. A Client Advocate walks alongside women and families who may be facing circumstances you have experienced before. By sharing your wisdom, compassion, and life lessons, you can help clients feel supported, heard, and empowered as they consider the best long-term choice for themselves and their baby. God can use the experiences of your past to bring hope and encouragement to someone today.

Administrative Support
Do you have a gift for serving behind the scenes? Administrative Support is an important part of keeping our ministry running smoothly. If you have experience with facility maintenance (i.e., cleaning, yard work, general handyman tasks), answering phone calls, or document production(i.e., packet assembly or media creation), we would love to have you serve with us! Your willingness to help with these practical needs allows our team to focus more time and energy on serving women and families in our community. Every task, big or small, helps advance the mission God has given us.

Parenting & Class Support
Do you have a heart for encouraging and walking alongside others? Become a Mentor and make a lasting impact in the life of a woman or family in our community. Mentors provide encouragement, support, accountability, and a listening ear as clients work toward their goals and navigate life challenges. You don’t have to have all the answers—you simply need a willing heart, a compassionate spirit, and a desire to let God use you. Your presence and encouragement could be the reminder someone needs that they are not alone.

Events & Outreach
Do you love connecting with people and bringing others together? Our Event & Outreach volunteers help share the mission of A Women’s Resource Center throughout our community. Serve by helping with fundraising events, donor relations and communications, community events, and outreach opportunities. Your time and willingness to serve can help us build meaningful relationships, connect families with resources, and raise awareness about the life-affirming work happening at AWRC.
